Coach Campbell was welcomed with open arms to the Sailor Family last year where he brings his passion, experience, and leadership to Sarasota High School, aiming to build a competitive and character-driven football program. He was born in Sarasota and had an incredible career at Michigan State University where he played Defensive Back under Coach Nick Saban. His playing career and extensive coaching experience at the college level has provided a skill set that is unmatched by most high school coaches. Coach Campbell conducts himself with dignity and expects nothing less from his coaches and players. He has a vast reach of contacts in the world of college football with resources that will truly be of benefit to our players. He has a passion for football and is committed and dedicated to building the Sailor Football program into one that dominates on the field but also produces young men that will have a successful future. Coach Campbell has strategically hired a staff of coaches with diverse experience and talents to provide a foundation for the program built on the core values of teamwork, honesty, accountability, respect, and trust. In one year, he has made incredible strides in building this program brick by brick by surrounding himself with people that share a common vision and standard of excellence.
